International News Break

International news as I unpack from the Toronto Comic Arts Festival: at TCAF I picked up my copy of Trip 8, an anthology of international comics which debuted at the show this weekend. It is published by the lovely folks at Éditions TRIP out of Quebec, and the book features an excerpt of my wordless comics. It is beautifully printed with a cover by my heroes at Tin Can Forest, and it has a great section focusing on Finnish comic artists. It doesn't seem like it's up yet at the Little Trip Shop, but if you happen upon it in the wild, definitely check it out--it's utterly gorgeous. 

And if you have the misfortune of not being in Chicago for CAKE on May 31/June 1, maybe you're in Athens Greece? If so, you should stop by Athens Zine Fest on May 24, where they are displaying a collection of international zine fest posters including this year's Chicago Zine Fest print that I illustrated and designed. I wish my pal George the best as he gears up in the last few weeks of prep before AZF 2014!
